It’s only reasonable to declare is as traumatic, considering how so many people would never dream of having to risk your life on a daily basis for an entire country whom you’re a complete stranger to most of its citizens. The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said in its 2-1 ruling, "Treatment delays for PTSD and other combat-related mental illnesses are so 'egregious' that they violate veterans' constitutional rights and contribute to the despair behind many of the 6,500 suicides among veterans each year." The veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder are in desperate need for timely health care. PTSD is a daily battle for all veterans who suffer from it. You can imagine how relieving and happy a veteran must feel knowing that there brutal war days are finally over with and they can go home to their loved ones to live the life they’ve been wanting to live for a long while, only to find out they’re going to be mentally haunted by a disorder that will follow them for potentially the rest of their lives. For example, the news channel is easily accessible to anyone that’s just simply at home wanting to watch tv. It’s just as easy to access news on war for children as it is for any adult. Children are growing up seeing images of men and women holding guns, fighting in war, seeing jets drop bombs, and seeing guns go off on other people. War in general teaches the public that the only solution to any disagreement with anyone is to kill. Children learn about war in their schools and hear their parents talk about it. The U.S. as a whole should be educating children and even adults that war isn’t just the only way to solve the problems we have against others. A government that gives the approval for our country to go up against another country by means of war, guns, bombs, bloodshed, and humans risking their lives on a daily basis is pure cruelty. Innocent lives of people who are in a war zone, possibly even live near a war zone, are targeted by their countries enemies and lose their lives over it even if they don’t have any participation in the war. Over decades, centuries, and even millenniums, the death counts always grow excessively and dramatically. Among all these includes the lives of innocent people. Just because it’s approved by the government and there’s many supporting the veterans, does not mean that murder is correct.
