War has been in this world for a tremendous amount of time. The very first war that has been recorded took place in mesopotamia in 2700 BCE.wars have been caused by several reasons, such as economic gain. A country would want to take over another's wealth, many countries have fought for riches, food,oils, minerals, or even for the ownership of cattles and horses. Wars can also be caused by territorial gain. A country may believe that they need more land for living, agricultural plans, or different reasons. Religion is also one of the reasons for war. Some people just simply don't like others for their religion and once that happens,war has begun. Some wars are caused by wanting to get revenge for a historical slight from the past. Today, some areas are not expected to recover for several decades.Another impact from war is refugees. A refugee is a person who has been forced to flee from war, persecution, or a natural disaster. For example, Rwandan conflict in 1994, a park called “Akagera National Park,” was open for refugees during the war. When thousands of people move into a new area because of war, the results can be chaotic. For example, deforestation, soil erosion and contamination of land and water. Although war has many negative effects on today's society, there's still some beneficial effects because of war. A positive effect from war could be that war can speed up the development of technology. If it wasn't for war weapons and medicine would still be lacking to this day. Wars can be very short, they can take decades. But there's many brutal wars such as the korean war. This war was mainly against north korea and south korea, with other countries taking sides. In 1991, iraq was the fifth biggest army in the world Countries involved the gulf war are egypt, france iraq,kuwait saudi arabia, syria, the united kingdom and the united states.the persian gulf war started decades before the actual military action occurred.the gulf war started because of Saddam Hussein, the dictator of iraq. He ordered the invasion of kuwait. The gulf war started when iraq was at war with iran. Iran wasn't just attacking iraq but also oil tankers from kuwait. Trying to end the war, kuwait took sides with iraq and aided them with 14 billion US dollars. However iraq tried to dodge the debt they owe to kuwait, for the favor kuwait did for iraq during the war. Kuwait declined and this later on became a split between iraq and kuwait. For a year they tried to solve the financial problem but failed. next , iraq asked all members of OPEC, also known as organization of the petroleum exporting, a governmental organization group consisting of 12 of the world's important oil-exporting nations, to lower oil production so the price of crude oil would increase, therefore this method could in increase savings, allowing iraq to pay their debt to kuwait. Some countries believed that kuwaiti did the opposite and asked to increase the allowance, because of this iraq was very dissatisfied. After this iraq started to accuse kuwait for stealing their oil.
