This model is aimed at explaining why the gender pay gap exists and where it stems from. So how are we supposed to make fair and unbias conclusions when we don’t have both sides of the stories? All of the information provided is very one sided, and I believe we need to understand the other side of the argument before we can go ahead and do further research.
Research Questions:
1. Has the number of men staying at home and looking after the children increased in the last ten years?
2. Is the gender wage gap influenced by women who would rather stay at home and look after the children?
3. Why do employers typically pay women less than men when they do the same job?

In conclusion, it is clear to see that through the themes of “ “ and “ “, women are unable to reach the goals and success levels that they deserve. Unless the stereotypes and norms change, women will not reach their full potential in their working lives. It is unfornatate that this affects them later down the track when they want to retire. Laws will not change this, we as a society need to change.
