People, especially in health professions, should learn to put themselves in another person’s shoes, and really try to understand a person’s situation before jumping to conclusions. Maybe a co-worker is acting disagreeable because their personal life is causing them to stress at work. Nobody can truly understand what another person is going through, so the best thing to do is to treat everyone with compassion. Nurses are most successful when they work together as a team and help each other out even when it’s not their job.
