In this section of the book,the narrator is going to his next baseball game. When he gets there, he sees his dad practicing with the best player on the team and Hutch’ s rival,Darryl.I am afraid and confused at this point.He thought that he was trying to challenge Hutch to practice and get better at baseball.His dad was showing him how to effortlessly scoop up the ball to make a quick throw.He showed this to Hutch when he was a lot younger. Back then,he thought he’d have to practice for a million years to get it. Now, he can do it perfectly.
