Today there are many challenges organizations face when trying to think strategically when building their business. Leaders and managers must frequently think about how their business models should look yearly, which means that changing their mission and strategic goals based on growth potential or new business ventures can be a focus when thinking strategically. Another area of focus for organizations would be implementation of the strategic plan. This could possibly impact the culture of the organization amongst the employees, how the message should be communicated, and follow-up to determine if the change was worthwhile (Plunkett, Allen, Attner, 2013). This evaluation is a combination of qualifications, skills, and abilities of the employees in the organization. This also provides the ability to build a chart that would support strengths and weaknesses within the current personnel to assist with identifying a managerial succession plan (Plunkett, Allen, Attner, 2013). From a business standpoint and being able to successfully recognize were there are holes within the personnel inventory and using this knowledge as a training tool for current employees or as a means to seek outside talent would be a task that Human Resources can analyze and assist with implementing within the organizations strategic …show more content…
