Standardized tests should be eliminated because student achievement hasn't been improved.
Standardized tests is said that it has not increased creativity or curiosity on education.
According to late education researcher Gerald W. Bracely, “Qualities that standardized tests
cannot measure include creativity, critical thinking, resilience, motivation, persistence, curiosity,
endurance,reliability, enthusiasm, empathy, self awareness, self discipline, leadership, civic
mindedness, courage compassion, resourcefulness, sense of beauty, sense of wonder,

involve in stress, fooling around, necessity of the tests and maybe the teacher’s lack of
teaching.
These reasons lead to a downfall of the U.S’s education. Some people argue that standardized
tests help students in their education and sets up for future jobs. These tests, in fact don´t help
for the student's future job and doesn't set themselves properly. These tests have multiple
choice questions which students think there are only right and wrong answers and makes
students think in a simplistic way. The reason why this is important is because this doesn't apply
in real world situations. If students think in a simplistic way there are high chances of failure in
these tests. The school district determines which school has the highest scores and money is
funded for that school. The problem is, if schools with lower scores are in the need of help, why
not have some better school supplies when they are having trouble with teaching? Not only
that, this issue is not the only one. If schools have lower scores than other schools, this will lead
to an unhealthy competition meaning that there is a lot of pressure on public schools that
