The good about standardized testing is it allows some students to be set apart from others these students do well on multiple choice questions, meaning that those students can see the multiple choice questions and when they see the correct answer it jogs their memory to the question. Test like the SAT and ACT help students that come from smaller high schools to be placed in better colleges where they might not have this opportunity, because bigger high schools have the ability for their students to be recognized just because of the school they are going too.
