When it came to speed dating I made sure to talk about family life, what they do and what they value in a relationship. I talked about the things I look for in a partner and the things I want in a partner. My top question was how important is family to you. Following with do you want kids and what do you want and value in a relationship. I also asked for them to describe them self in three words so I could get a better picture of who they were and finally I wanted to know what they were passionate about. I chose these questions so that I could get the best picture of the people I was talking to and getting know in the short time that I had. This were the most important questions for me because if we couldn’t agree on a couple of them a rleationship

Love Locks This past summer I travelled to Tofino and had the great, good fortune to find myself exploring the Wild Pacific Trail. Over 9 km long, the trail winds along the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. Waves crashing on the rocks below, giant cedars towering overhead, it is unquestionably an authentic west coast experience. Inspired by the breathtaking vista, I stopped for a few minutes to savour the view. As I gazed out across the mighty ocean swell, my eyes came to rest on a single, solitary padlock chained to the protective guard rail.…

In chapter 2 of Blink, “Malcolm Gladwell explores many different examples based on snap judgement, which is extremely quick, because it is based off of the thinist slice of information. One of the examples Gladwell explores that stood out to me would be priming, and the example in the book had students go through a set of five words, ten sets of them, and they were broken into two groups. In both groups, the students were suppose to make four word sentences out of the five sets of words and they had to do as quickly as they could and when they were done they had to walk down to the person leading the experiment and let them know that they were done. All of the words given to them were jumbled up, and all the words that didn’t belong in the…

Spinnen, which means both to spin thread and spider, but when used as a verb it means “be crazy (daft, nuts)”…
