My fellow American citizens; today I shall share with you the very principles by which we can say, "I 'm American and I 'm damn proud of it." America was based on one simple idea; the idea that everyone should be free from tyranny (except black people). I believe that everyone in America has the due right to feel free. Every moment that they wake up and realize they may say what they want, about anyone they want to, even the government! In some other less civilized countries, the government will send assassins to kill you if you even think about going against the wonderful Communist government. They don 't have freedom? All doubts removed, persons of that country have not realized the true meaning of what it is to be in a totally free environment. Almost certainly, were the less fortunate to experience this type of freedom that Americans enjoy on a day to day basis, they would undeniably want to move to our prospering nation, in which anyone can make a life for themselves. There are numerous other things that make a person an American, such as being proud and taking things for granted. All Americans take at least one of the rights that we enjoy for granted. For some it may be the freedom of speech and for others, the right to vote for their favorite political representative. Clearly, there are a lot of aspects involved in being an American.
