Southwest Airlines' website has a mission statement designed especially for employees, “To Our Employees: We are committed to provide our Employees a stable work environment with equal opportunity for learning and personal growth. Creativity and innovation are encouraged for improving the effectiveness of Southwest Airlines. Above all, employees will be provided the same concern, respect, and caring attitude within the organization that they are expected to share externally with every Southwest Customer” (Southwest, 2015).

When it comes to work experience, “Southwest has numerous programs that are designed to reward and recognize individuals, teams, and entire departments. Each program has its own unique title and set of goals. Some of the titles include “Together We Make It Great,” “Ticket to the Future”, “Stuck on Service,” “Helping Hands,” and “Winning Spirit.” Many of these programs are designed and managed by teams of employees.
