With 1.15 billion of us using Facebook, it is clear that social media has become a major part of our daily lives. Over the past couple of years social media has become more and more popular with people of all ages. The internet and social media is no longer a thing for the young and the computer savvy but has now become a thing which even the elderly are getting in on. It has become something that we use every single and is an innovation that we simply could not live without, it’s hard to imagine a life without social media because we are so involved and somewhat addicted to it. Social media has changed the way in which we communicate and interact with others in so many ways, some of which are good and some that are bad. It is a great innovation which has changed the world in which we live in even though many people see it as an invasion of privacy and dangerous we cannot stop the incredible power of social media. However for those that view it as dangerous, there are many safety precautions put in place on social networking sites to prevent the worst from happening. Social media is something which was created to be enjoyed, not something which should be feared. It now plays such a major role in our lives that can you physically imagine what your life would be like without it?
