Alcohol is one of the most controversial products in terms of health, age, law and cause of accidents. Is a legal depressant drug that reduces the function or activity of a specific part of the body or brain. “Prevalence of Drinking: In 2013, 86.8 percent of people ages 18 or older reported that they drank alcohol at some point in their lifetime”.(should alcohol be banned)A lot of people consume alcohol responsibly and do not cause any harm to others. According to the physiology, studies have shown that a large number of children coming from alcohol abuse families face problems like loneliness, guilt, fear of abandonment, feeling of helplessness, low self-esteem, and chronic depression. Alcohol always affects people around you. Alcohol consumption is associated with a wide range of adverse health and social consequences Most individuals drink alcohol in ways that do not increase the risk for alcohol use problems and may also derive a health benefit. “Long lasting abuse of alcohol leads to several chronic diseases like pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis, high blood pressure and different type of cancer etc. In reality, some abusers rely on substance use as an excuse for becoming violent, 40% of all violent crimes today”.(alcohol drugs and crime). People who abuse alcohol often have legal or financial troubles related to their drinking. Long-term alcohol abuse may lead to alcoholism.
