This ad is clearly targeted to young males, the slogan for the sub is “IT’LL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY” on the upper right corner says “it just tastes better.” Don’t forget the description on the sandwich “fill your desire for something long, juicy.” Burger king is saying with this ad that males will get the same amount of pleasure from eating the sandwich as the sexual act they are showing. The mascot for burger king is a male, obviously a king with his superior robe and crown is the king of burgers. Men make more money than woman; also men think it’s a woman’s job to stay home and take care of the kids and let the men bring home the bacon. With the burger kings mascot it is saying that woman should have to listen to the “king” men and that we should have to bow down to men.

The ad was taken off the market just as soon as it went up, there was a lot of controversy about how degrading it is to woman. I just think burger king took “sex sells” extremely overboard , therefore burger king will most likely lose more female customers; no women would want to eat at burger king due to how it makes them feel.
