Informative Speech On Walt Disney

Of course we all have heard of Walt Disney and the many theme parks he has in his name around the world. I want you to think of a world however without Disneyland. Scary right? Well this “Disneyland-lacking” world would have been a reality if it wasn’t for his brother Roy Disney, who took care all of financial side of the Walt Disney Company in its early years. After personally being a cast member at Walt Disney World, I have always been inspired to teach people about the history of the Walt Disney Company. With this inspiration I am honored to award Roy Disney with The Dream Builder Award. We’ll first talk about a little history of Roy Disney and how he establish such a world renowned company. Next we will look at the legacy and impact Roy Disney has made. Finally we will take a look at The …show more content…
Now that you know some of the history behind Roy Disney, let 's take a look at his legacy and the impact it has. so with the help of his brother, Roy Disney built a multimillion dollar entertainment empire. In 1972, The National Champion Report stated that “In the creation of Disneyland and Walt Disney World no one played a more important role than Roy Disney.” It’s obvious that Walt Disney was the creative genius behind everything, however Walt’s dream would not have become a reality if it wasn’t for his brother Roy. The legacy that is left today thanks to the genius behind the Walt Disney Company is to fulfill children’s dreams and show them that dreams can come true if you only believe.Now of course we’ve all seen the YouTube clips of children freaking out and crying when their parents tell them they’re going to Disney. The hard work that Roy Disney constantly put into building his brothers dream really paid off. The impact that the Walt Disney Company has on people today is dare to dream big.
