The topic I have chosen for my essay is Walt Disney.

Walt Disney was an entrepreneur and producer. He was the producer of many popular movies such as Snow White, Pinocchio, and Bambi just to name a few. He founded many theme parks such as Disneyland in Anaheim, California, Walt Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan, Disneyland Paris in Paris, France, Disneyland Hong Kong in Lantau Island, Hong Kong, and Disneyland Shanghai in Shanghai, China. Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 In Illinois. He had three brothers and a sister. He lived most of his life in Missouri, where he began to learn of his love of drawing. In 1911 Walt and his family moved to Kansas city, where he began to learn of his love of trains. A few years later He worked at the railroad selling snacks and newspapers, to travelers. Walt attended high school in Chicago, but when he was 16, Walt dropped out of school to join the army. However Walt was rejected because he was underage. Instead he joined the red cross and drove an ambulance for a year in France.

His brother Roy got him a job at the Pesmen-Rubin Art Studio. Later he found a job at the Kansas City Ad company, where he made commercials based on cut out animation. At that time Walt started to practice taking pictures and doing hand drawn animation, from there he decided to open his own animation business.
