How Did Walt Disney Changed The World

America has many historical heros. These heroes have changed this world. Not all the heroes fought in wars, or served as presidents. Some of the heroes changed the world from not just that. Some changed the world by film, art, or speeches. This man has changed the world drastically with film. This American hero is Walt Disney. Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5th, 1901 in Hermosa, Illinois. He was born to Elias and Flora Call Disney along with four other siblings in his family. Not long after Walt was born, his family moved to Marceline, Missouri to start a farm. Walt lived most of his childhood there. Walt had always loved art. Walt also started a business called Laugh-O-Gram. During this time, Walt started a film about a girl in the animated world’s adventures called The Alice Comedies. Soon, Walt ran out of money and Laugh-O-Grams went bankrupt. Walt NEVER gave up though! Walt left Kansas City with his unfinished animation, The Alice Comedies, a suitcase, and a WHOLE BUNCH OF CONFIDENCE and headed to Hollywood. Walt’s brother, Roy, was already in California. Roy is always encouraging Walt to follow his dreams. So, Roy helped Walt to start a business. The brothers borrowed $500 to set up shop in their uncle’s garage. Soon after, Walt received the first order of The Alice Comedies from New York. Walt and Roy soon expanded their production and got a Hollywood estate office. With all of Walt enthusiasm,encouragement, and faith in himself he went straight to the top of the society of Hollywood. After The Alice Comedies kind of wrapped up, Walt was approached by Carl Leammle and was requested to do an all-animated series with a rabbit. Walt went right to work.
