In this essay, I propose to examine the similarities and differences between different types organisational culture and how management can use culture as a tool for success. To affect the organisational performance, “ Organizational culture is largely shaped by an organization’s leaders and is presumed to be important because it can have consequential effects on firm performance “ (Hartnell, Ou, & Kinicki, 2011). Which at first seems obvious, but we must remember this is the foremost reason to change or create an organisational culture. Our ‘Realities Of Business Enterprise” organisation has created this culture to enhance communication between areas, to avoid confusion, therefore hopefully achieving parallel work. Rolls Royce management has created an honest and performance driven culture, with high expectations, consequently ending up with the high quality Rolls Royce goods we know of today.
