If a woman had to name her top celebrity crush, Robert Downey Jr. would be at the head of the list. These past couple of years Robert Downey Jr. has succeeded in becoming an A-list actor. Robert Downey Jr. stays out of the media and keeps the details of his personal life under wraps. Although, in the past he did have some trouble with drugs and alcohol but, one can argue it only helped his reputation. Woman loving hearing success stories about men going from bad to good. Currently, Robert Downey Jr. is a hot commodity and adds an intangible value to any film he stars in. His value can be determined by the reaction he receives from his fans. He has stared in several Iron Man movies, The Avengers series, and Sherlock Homes. He has become the face of Iron …show more content…
In the past, he has stared in 51 films with each film grossing 60.2 million each. Plus, he tops Forbes list of Hollywood Highest paid actors. Finally, he has been nominated for many awards for the films he has been in. For example, he won the Golden Globe for best performance by an actor in a motion picture for a comedy or musical, for Sherlock Homes. All of this and the fact that the first Avengers Movie made a revenue of approximately one billion dollars worldwide allowed him to be paid top dollar. It was reported that he was earned about 50 million for the second Avengers movie. Robert Downey Jr. high demand would allow him to negotiate a profitable deal with the upcoming Marvel movies. Similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger, he would be one of the main players who would receive a part of the gross profit. Robert Downey Jr. agreement would consist of a pay or play fee, as a result he would get paid regardless if the movie is made or not. Furthermore, he would receive accommodations for housing, personal trailer, and be paid for any additional overtime. Additionally, he would be able to approve the cast and crew that works with him. Finally, he would receive compensation from all the merchandise that is sold
