Have you ever wondered what the life of the voice of Darth Vader was. Well James Earl Jones is the voice of Darth Vader. He is not just famous for that role. He has also played in many other movies and voiced many characters. James Earl Jones was a very successful Actor, but it wasn’t easy for him to get to that point.
James Earl Jones mother was born August 24, 1910. She was the second child of Massie and Tom Henry (Hayday 33). She later on went to have James Earl Jones on January 17, 1931 in Arkabutla, Mississippi (Hayday 23). James was often alone as a child because his parents were always working (“James Earl Jones” 1). When his grandfather sold the farm and moved to Michigan in 1939 he went with them (Hayday 119). In 1995 he signed a contract to be the exclusive spokesperson for Bell Atlantic. (Hayday 113). James Earl Jones starred in many movies, and he also won many awards during his career of acting (“James Earl Jones”2). In Life Magazine, critic Jack Kroll stated, “He’s right in the room with you, but he’s also in your mind, an electrifying double presence that only the strongest actors can create” (“James Earl Jones”4). Over his career in acting James has developed into one of the best actors during the time of his career (“James Earl Jones”¾). As of 2012 he is working on movies such as Gimme Shelter and Starbright (“James Earl Jones”4).
James Earl Jones was one of the best actors back in the day and still is today not only in acting, but in voicing characters. James Earl Jones had a tough childhood, but he fought through it.
