In today’s work place employee satisfaction is just as important as it has ever been in history. With employer cutbacks, job eliminations, pay reductions, and business closings employee satisfaction must be at the forefront of employer’s plans to be successful. The same survey shows a drop in employee’s job satisfaction. The survey results scored very low in communication, working conditions, employee’s benefits, and employee’s opinion on Riordan’s management. Group of employees are suffering from low morale and feeling unappreciated for their efforts and lacked in current position without any opportunity for career development. From survey results, it is clear that employees’ interest are in better reward program, higher wages, job security, and better recognition system, and that employees appreciate and value recognitions of achievements.
The next stakeholders are customers. Riordan’s customers perceive the changes driven by Riordan management differently than other stakeholders. Customers are interested to purchase top quality product at a competitive price. Riordan’s leadership team generally and sales department especially need to deliver the best customer service and superior quality, delivery, and service they have been accustomed to in the past.
From an ethical standpoint, Riordan must consider the changes they are implementing and decide what are going to be the best solutions needed to satisfy stakeholders that will not have an adverse affect on the integrity of the
