Various explanations for this connection exist, including the positive effect of social networks and social support provided by fellow members, and the role of prayer, faith, beliefs, and religious practices and spirituality in mental wellbeing. Building upon the broad coverage of aforementioned religious merits, the purpose of this term paper was designed to explore the extent of religious intervention in predicting elderly mental health via psychological and theological perspectives, and empirical findings.
