The movie American Tail is about a family of mice, they don't like where they are so the move from Russia to America in hope for a good life. There are also many push and pull factors behind why they left, but hopefully people don't come to America for the same reason. You may be wondering what are push and pull factors, push factors are a reason to leave where you are. Pull factors are why you want to move there and get a new life.

The family of mice did not like Russia they thought it would be better in America. One push factor is the cats that tried to get them and eat them, mama and papa wanted to keep their family safe and out of harm's way. One day when the family lest expected it there was an attack on their house and knocked it

A big issue that happened on the bout is Fievel “dieing” on the way over because of getting lost in the water he did not actually die, he saved himself in a bottle and floated to america. As you may know one of these pull factors was there were no cats but there actually were cats in america. The mice had a plane to get rid of the cats it did work but the plan started a fire, and Fievel was in it but he survived and found his family.

As we all hopefully know this is not how people imagrate it is actually very different. Most people do not move because there are cats. And there will be cats almost everywhere you go it could be Russia or America there will be cats. In the movie the mice talked but that's not how it actually is in real life. Animals do not talk and sing in real life or america. In the movie the mice got off the ship and had there own cheek in. In amarica mice do not get to cheek in or go on the ship. Many thing that happened in this movie are not true.

To conclude the movie american tail has things that could happen and things could not at all. I think that's what makes the move so good so parts are funny some are serious but this movie teaches you alot. This movie has a lot of push and pull factors that are different that many people's reason to leave or

There are many standout moments that I would like to mention, but first I would like to say that I am very impressed with this film, I always have been wondering all these things and I like the fact that we are learning about them in this class. The first standout moment for me was when the man and his family lost their farm. It called my attention because my family and some families from this area had to go through this same situation a few years ago. Second standout moment: the pilots’ salaries from 16,000 to 22,000 yearly! That’s ridiculous, some of them had to ask for food stamps, some of them have a second job, that remind me a time when a met a paramedic working at a warehouse, I asked him why he was working there, and he told me that he was getting pay more there for opening boxes than saving lives and even though he loved to be a paramedic he needed the money.…
