Frank and Agnes were very strong in their religious beliefs and helped to build a Catholic church by cutting all of the wood that was needed for the church. Frank also helped saw lumber for the Ford Motor Company. At the time, the bottoms of the cars were made out of wood. The bottom would then wear out and get holes in it. Once you would sit down and started driving, you could see the bottom of the road as you drove. The farm that Frank and Agnes owned happens to still be in the position of the Kampa family. However, the animals raised and crops produced has significantly been reduced, but the main crops of corn and pumpkin are grown. Joseph settled in Virginia when he arrived in the United States. Joseph married and had seven children with John Miler relating closely to me. John Miler had ten children, Charles Miler being apart of my close ancestry. Charles moved to Iowa with his wife and fifteen children, Daniel being in my close family line. Daniel remained in Iowa with his family, which contained twelve children, John Wesley being closely related to me. John had two children, Frank Wesley Miler being my great-great grandfather. John Wesley had significantly less children than his past ancestors due to his death in the Civil War from injuries he acquired in a prisoner of war camp. Frank Wesley married Daisy Scott and had seven children, Ray Miler being my great-grandfather. Frank Wesley moved the family from Iowa to Hayfield, Minnesota where he worked for the post office and became a well known name in the town, which still holds to this day. Ray Miler married Lillian Baudoin and together had five children. Their second child, Frank, was born in 1934 and was my grandfather. Ray worked on the railroad construction for many years in Hayfield. Frank served in the Air Force for about twenty years before retiring, thus moving his family throughout the continent and the world as his son and my father, Michael, was born in Tripoli, Africa.
