Over the decades team leadership have succeeded in businesses, government, and public health professional arenas leading to opportunities to model excellent teamwork. The effectiveness of leading a team requires shared responsibilities to manage followers and other leaders in task completions. The focus of team leadership can have many dimensions, critiquing on how a workload should be completed and when a leader needs to intervene. Delegation is one way a team leader can complete tasks and intervene (Nahavandi, 2014). Delegation is done through the act of partnership and teaming up with other colleagues. In where, leaders increases their dependency on colleagues requiring the needs for cooperation and collaboration (Nahavandi, 2014). Increasing dependency requires having the right people in place that allows the leaders to build on the team member’s talents and capacity to form a successful team (Nahavandi, 2014). An effective leader portrays the skills, traits, and characteristic of encouraging other team members to participate in taking leads. A team leader stimulates the workplace environment by developing an inclusiveness strategy plan to embrace building on respected and trusted relationship with their teammates. The features of an effective team leader is in their ability to communication their inner self through demonstration of compassion, integrity, and fairness (Scott & Media, 2016). The need to manage people under delegation serve is an opportunity to develop new future leaders. Likewise, it gives the colleagues an opportunity to master skills required to overcome the social differences. Through setting interpersonal boundaries in remaining task oriented as a resolution in solving conflicts between people will help the organization to succeed in its line of productivities.
