At first, I wanted to be a part of my local police department in Oklahoma City, but now I want to work at the federal level. My aspirations for working for the federal government began when I enrolled in classes taught by former FBI agents at the Forensic Science Institute at UCO. Their stories of success motivated me to pursue a career as a federal agent. Not only did their stories persuade me to seek law enforcement opportunities at the federal level, but my values and those of the federal law enforcement agencies are aligned as well. I have grown to realize that I want to ensure the security of the Homeland by my enlistment in the National Guard. I learned that respect and integrity are of utmost importance when it comes to the community by spending my uncommitted time volunteering. I also believe that serving and striving for excellence in this field is the best way to maintain the swift motion of the Criminal Justice system. I believe that I can achieve this goal by continuing my studies here at UCO and obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Crime and Intelligence
