Can you imagine life without having pets or not having a companion with you to make you feel better when you 're upset or sick? Imagine if you raised a dog since birth and took care of it as if it was your own child and one day animal control just takes them away because of the type of breed they are.
For years there has been a stereotype on pit bulls,stories about them attacking people,and even now there are many myths about them that are not true. For example, according to the article “ Pit bulls Myths” it mentions one of the many myths such as “pit bulls don 't feel pain” and it states that “ Pit Bulls have the same nervous system of any other breed, and they can and do feel pain.” This shows that there is a lot of data that is incorrect

Pitbulls are very loyal dogs their good with children, they love humans, and are even used as service dogs to help those with disabilities and the media doesn 't portray this part about pit bulls. What the media targets are only things that would come to a shock or surprise to the society and the problem with this is that the media is not always correct about they say because they focus on one side of the story and what they see, what they leave out is cause of the situation or the background of it. A lot of people don 't understand the needs of certain breeds. If a dog needs to be walked daily, receive lots of attention, or needs to intake the appropriate amount of food everyday, and does not get that,it’s going to change their personality. In addition, according to “the Pit Bull Placebo” it says “The fact is, humans often do cruel and dangerous things to dogs and usually escape without injury. However, some acts are so reckless that an attack is almost guaranteed. In 1897, an instance of this occurred near Columbus, Ohio”. The reason a lot of bad people used these dogs is because they 're so loyal and they want to please their owner, so if the owner says to do something or the dog is trained a certain way, it 's going to do it. This is another reason these dogs are feared . What a lot of people hear is that Pit Bulls are born and meant to be fighting dogs and because of all media these myths spread real quick, and then you have this breed that is being bred all around the world and used for the wrong things.Truth be told, this is not what Pits are meant for, according to “Pitbull Myths”, “This breed is routinely used for: obedience trialing, conformation showing, weight pull, Schutzhund (a German sport which requires dogs to perform in obedience, tracking and protection phases of a competition), agility, and have even been known to
