How would you feel if your pet was banned? Pit bulls are a type of dog, that could be banned. Pit bulls are known to be a dangerous breed of dogs. Many people are afraid of Pit-bulls,on the contrary some people think that pit bulls are an excellent breed of dogs. Pit-bulls should not be banned. One reason pit bulls should not be banned is that they are not that threatening. An example of this is that Pit-bull attacks are sometimes over reported by the media. In The Media and the Pit-bull the article states,”they will not cover a dog attack unless the situation involves a pit bull.” Usually the media keeps quiet when a cuter dog attacks someone. The media and the Pit Bull also states,”The media intentionally over-reports incidents involving pit bulls.” …show more content…
In Pit Bulls Haven’t Always Had a Bad Rep it states,” their image was used on posters to recruit soldiers during World War I.” One pit bull named Stubby saved his entire platoon. Stubby earned army medals. When he came home, he was a hero. People who think pit-bulls should be banned might say that they are dangerous ,however many pit-bulls aren’t as dangerous as the public thinks. Some people love pit-bulls. Also many animals are way more dangerous than pit-bulls. This is one reason why people should not ban pit-bulls. Pit bulls should not be banned.
