I need to also start shopping every week instead of two weeks, so I can make sure there is enough food to last, and things don’t go bad if not eaten fast enough. 3. Influences: When my husband brings home fast food, or soda it is very hard to resist. • Background: If we go over our parent’s house for dinner, or if we go out to eat I tend to eat unhealthy and feel ok about it. • Negative outcomes: Same as above, I tend to feel crappy and it’s hard to go back to eating healthy once you just had a big class of sugar and a big plate of cheese fries.…
Already having my meals planned out or even cooked a day or up to a week ahead will keep me on track so I don’t have to worry about what I’m going to eat or having to cook after a long day at work.My eating habits never seemed to change after paying closer attention to what I’m doing. As stated previously I will start the day off well but as it goes on I get lazy with what I eat. I’ve also noticed that after breakfast I have multiple meals until dinner. I will put something together for lunch and that will not usually satisfy me. I find myself making multiple trips to the fridge and coming back for fourths when I eat dinner.…
So we discount for student to attract them to my restaurant. (3) On every Wednesday is lady night, this mean free one dish for every lady (we have special menu of 5 dishes for they choose one of them). Wednesday is the midday of the week, so the amount of customers in that day is not meeting my requirement. If that day is ladies day, everything will be different. Ladies will bring their husbands, children, family to my restaurant.…
It seems like my New Year Resolution every year on January 1st is the same; to lose weight. Do I ever keep it? Turns out I don 't. I try to eat healthily, but I seem like I always find myself looking for the unhealthy snacks. My mornings start off healthy, I 'll eat a banana or maybe some strawberries for my breakfast, but then I get to school or I 'm at home looking for something to eat for lunch and the only thing that looks even remotely good, is something not healthy.…
When I first started this project I thought it was going to be easy, but as weeks passed by I realized that trying to break a habit of years within a few weeks was not going to be realistic. When I tried to meal prep and have 4-5 small meals throughout the day, I constantly felt hungry and was craving really unhealthy fast food items. I have multiple friends who meal prep, and I used them as my resources. Ever since trying to meal prep like my friends, I truly respect them for being able to do it so diligently for months. I’d always ask them what kept them motivated and they would just tell me willpower and that they wanted to stay…
Make vegetable sandwiches for lunch every day was my SMART goal for improving my physical health. I was unable to reach this goal as I planned. After the strike, I got more school work than I thought. This SMART goal soon became unrealistic: I didn’t go shop on time, I avoided to spend a lot time to shop, I had no time to make sandwiches, or I just felt too tired after my day ended. I changed this goal to a new SMART goal: make vegetable sandwiches for dinner on weekends.…
The second week of this exercise went well of not eating fast food; I only ate out at a fast food place ounce, that was because I didn’t have any food yet for my residence. I felt during the time that this exercise had been kind of awkward for me not to think about eating fast food because it is something I do all the time in my life. I knew that if I cut out entirely not eating fast food, not only will I be a lot healthier but save money in the process. That week I managed to purchase a lot of healthy food for my residence, and that has encouraged me not just to eat…
That was my first time laying eyes on home cooked fish so swallowed my pride and decided that I was going to be a positive girl and try my grandfather’s fish. About an hour later I finished most of the food on my plate, but I had been playing and talking so much that I realized I still haven’t eaten my fish. As I glanced down at my plate, there it was. It looked so nice, but I was so afraid that it wouldn’t taste like the fish at my favorite place called Berry’s. The fish was greasy, crispy, and hard.…
I started on consuming more grain products, vegetables and fruits, I consumed for the week only salad, pasta and on the weekend I consumed chicken I did found myself craving chicken not meat. So far, I have not eaten beef meat, am going to try on keeping in that way. I know I could go for a while without consuming meat, but chicken is very difficult for me. In my prospective why I find it very hard to not consume meat or chicken is because for my…
I have never truly been satisfied by some restaurants, but there are a few places that have me crawling back for more. However, I have not been introduced to other food joints but hopefully my peers will soon introduce me to some food joints, that outshines my mom’s cooking. Consequently, knowing there are other eateries I have yet to wallow in, I am more than certain I will still choose the restaurants of my choice before I decide to eat at other eateries. In short, Cheba Hut, Denny’s and Pizza Mia, will always be my top 3 favorite to places to satisfy my taste buds for years to…
