Munt, Liberty, Knapp, and Jamison. What do these all have in common? They are schools in Keya Paha County, or well were schools. Many of our past schools have had to been shut down and made the kids got into town or a different school. We must keep our schools open, for the sake of our town, our people, and our sanity. The academically progressive schools in the beautiful Keya Paha County are vitally important and crucial to the well-being of our county. Today we will discover the history of the schools in Keya Paha County. Next, we will learn about the present state of the Keya Paha County schools. Finally, we will expound on the endangered future of these prized schools.

In a survey, conducted by the sophomore class on October 19, 2015, students were asked if they felt teachers spoke with them often about their plans after high school. A majority of the students felt like very few teachers ever asked about their futures plans either it was college or a job. I think it is important that teacher discuss this with students also trying to help them figure out what they want to do. Another thing that I believe needs improved is the enrollment numbers if we want to keep our school we need more kids. In an interview with Brian Munger on November 3, 2015, he suggested every business hiring at least one employee. One-on-one discussions between students and teachers concerning the students ' worries, plans for after high school, and general business would benefit both sides of the consultation. Teachers need to better understand about their students ' life outside of school. Working with different styles of learning would help the teachers to get their daily messages across to each student. Extracurricular activities need to be given same amount of attention by students, advisors, coaches, and teachers. All of these improvement suggestions were found in the results of the sophomore class 's survey conducted on October 19,
