Stop Animal Experimentation!

When you go to the store and pick up a beauty product, what do you see? Most people would see models and tv ads, but you know what i see? I see helpless, innocent animals, locked in cages, being victims to the testing of the corrosive, toxic chemicals that are used to make beauty products. Animal testing is cruel and inhumane to most people and the only reason why other people turn their back to helping these animals is because they do not truly understand what happens behind those testing lab doors. Animals are practically being tortured. They do not consent to these testings because they simply can not. Please help stop the torture of animals in testing labs!We have to stand up and defend animals because they can’t do it themselves. Companies should find alternative ways to

Most of the time the endpoint to these experiments is death. ¨Every year in the U.S., over 25 million animals are used in biomedical experimentation, product and cosmetic testing, and science education. This includes-dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, pigs, sheep, monkeys, chimpanzees, and more. However, the majority of animals in labs (over 90 percent) are rats, mice, and birds. Some estimates place them in the tens to hundreds of millions¨ (“Harm”). Animals are getting put in cages with many more animals to the point where movement is not even a choice. it sickens me that people hate against puppy mills and such, but when it comes to the living environment for animals in testing labs, in which the living situation is very similar to the living situations in puppy mills, people just turn the other cheek. Just think about it, the sweet little animals that you love so much, cats/dogs, are getting injected with corrosive and dangerous chemicals just to that you can have your soooo needed beauty products (insert sarcastic

Kadian Ott Have you ever thought about animals used in commercial or scientific testing? Do you believe it's fair for animals to be used? Do people care if these animals go extinct? We should care about animals more so animals have been used for testing since about 500 b.c and that's roughly around 2500 years of using animals for our own advantage. These animals can't even communicate with us to tell us whether or not to use them in testing.…

A Cruel and Unjust Life Right now over one million animals are being tortured and tested on throughout the United States. (“Animal Testing 101”) These animals include birds, dogs, cats, bunnies, and so much more. These animals have no protection from the harsh examinations the scientists do with them. They are in inhumane living and have no time to play, like an animal should do.…

End animal testing Since times unmemorable humans and animals have had a special relationship. Animals have kept us alive and we cared for them. The Bible speaks of Adam and Eve being clothed in animal skins at the time of their departure from the Garden of Eden. In those days animals were respected because of their sacrifice. Recent scientific discoveries and advances in medicine opened up a new field of uses for animals other than just food or clothing.…

Animal testing is cruel and inhumane. First of all, there is a huge lack of respect in the industry. According to Dunnuck: "Animals have a basic moral right to respectful treatment. . . .This inherent value is not respected when animals are reduced to being mere tools in a scientific experiment."…

The Controversy With Animal Testing Animal testing is more of a problem than some believe. Some people believe it is okay to use animals as their test subjects, while others have been trying to convince people that there are alternatives to using animals that will work just as well. “It’s not testing cosmetics. It’s trying to save my life” (Kopp and Camosy 48) said Eileen Youtie who is fighting cancer. Eileen is paying over $30,000 so tests can be done on an animal before the doctors use the drugs on her (48).…

Animals Testing Did you know that all across the world each year, millions of animals are being put under harsh and inhumane circumstances in order to have potentially harmful products tested on them? How is it ethical that on estimate, 26 million animals are used for scientific and commercial testing? Many people have a preconceived idea that only “useless” animal are being tested on such as rats, but animals like dogs and cats are being tested on as well. In 2010, Minnesota used a total of 2,703 cats and New Jersey used a total of 6,077 dogs, that is more than any other state (“Alternatives In Testing”). Animal testing is something that needs to come to an end and due to our upgraded technology and science in today’s day and age, I know that there are several alternatives scientists can take in order to put an end to testing on innocent animals.…

The main reason why we animal test is for cosmetic research, not medical research, which is the only type that can be half accepted. Medical research for humans on animals means they still do not get the correct results we need because of the two different reactions of chemicals in two different animals. Popular brands hide the way they animal test because they know that when people find out their product will not sell as well. Global warming is also a huge and rising problem on our earth, and by cutting out cosmetic research on animals, it will mean a few hundred less factories running around the world and releasing fumes into the atmosphere. This will mean a lot of jobs lost, but there are plenty more jobs in the world and it will only benefit our world.…

In a website about animal testing, there are several facts that are named, such as these: more than 100 Million animals in US labs around the country are abused, poisoned, burned, and crippled every year. Also, 92% of the experimental drugs that scientists use on animals, are safe and effective for the animals but do not work for humans because they are too dangerous or they did not work. Animal testing is just awful to do because animals do not need to experience so much pain. Scientists should stop testing animals because it is cruel to animals and animals do not deserve to be treated so badly, and animal lives do not need to be put at risk in order to test something. Animal testing is cruel to animals and they do not deserve to be treated…

According to the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science, “Every person in the United States has benefited from the results of animal testing. Children are now immunized against many diseases such as whooping cough, small pox, and tetanus all because of animal testing”. With all the good coming from animal testing it is hard to believe there are still some radical groups strongly opposing the medical science behind it. Animal testing for medical purposes is necessary and justified because it is vital to modern medical treatments and will continue to be necessary to respond to new diseases.…

People fight and cry for their freedom, while others have turned their heads and chosen to ignore their plight. Some others have taken even further steps in the wrong direction, choosing to believe that each type of animal testing is terrible and trying to condemn medical research as well, endangering countless lives in doing so. Cosmetic testing needs to be stopped, to save not only the animals who suffer through it, but to save the souls of people as well. Animals can save humans as much as we can save them in a way, but to avoid continuing to be the cruelest species, the cruelty inflicted on animals for vanity must be stopped, for the sake of…

Although animal experimentation has provided many benefits, there are alternatives to test toxic substances that may eliminate the cruel use of animals in research. The United States, along with many other countries, have turned to the use of animals in research labs to test human products for hazardous substances. According to the Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal, the United States uses about 12 million animals every year making it the biggest conductor of animal experimentation in the world. Scientists and many companies believe that testing their products on animals save humans from being harmed if the product is toxic. However, no matter what the benefits of animal experimentation are, the tests conducted on the animals are cruel.…

Animal testing has always been a controversial and emotive topic. Each year, millions of innocent animals suffer and die in cruel chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics tests, as well as in biology lessons, medical training exercises, and curiosity-driven medical experiments at universities (“PETA Makes Its Case Against Animal Testing” 3). Think of any drug, cosmetic or household cleaner. Chances are, at one time or another, an animal suffered in order to put that product on the shelf. It takes hundreds of animals being subjected to unnecessary tests in order for one single drug to be considered safe.…

The biggest producers definitely need to stand up more to persuade and convince the other companies that they don’t need to go anywhere near an innocent animal for the testing of their products making everyone feeling positive if they know that nothing has been harmed in the making of the product also if you go look up animal testing and go on any website with polls the majority want it to be banned completely or banned in their country Many people have started to realise just how much barbaric us humans are treating the animals one of the stupidest arguments for animal testing is that animals don 't have rights they are a living things that have needs to survive just like humans, they need shelter, food, water, medication, freedom, a right to live animals are not for human enjoyment nor are they for harming or killing just for our wants if we keep killing animals because of pointless testing we could end up making some species…
