Millions are drawn to protest the tests conducted for vanity, and some countries have already placed laws in action to ban the practice. The fight continues in the U.S. for the welfare of animals that are still undergoing vile tests so that people can have cosmetic products. The cry for justice grows louder as new technology allows far more accurate testing to be conducted, without ever involving innocent animals that will live out their lives and likely die in the laboratories, often as a result of the tests. People need to be informed and aware of what happens to innocent animals so that they may wear the latest mascara or eyeshadow. These creatures will spend either their entire lives or the remainder of their lives caged up, waiting for the next experiment, what the next day will bring, and feeling scared and alone. They suffer needlessly in the wake of new technologies and research possibilities. Some are born into the life, never knowing what it feels to be loved and cared for. Perhaps even crueler still is that some have known these kindnesses, lived in homes with families, before being stolen and sold to a laboratory. People fight and cry for their freedom, while others have turned their heads and chosen to ignore their plight. Some others have taken even further steps in the wrong direction, choosing to believe that each type of animal testing is terrible and trying to condemn medical research as well, endangering countless lives in doing so. Cosmetic testing needs to be stopped, to save not only the animals who suffer through it, but to save the souls of people as well. Animals can save humans as much as we can save them in a way, but to avoid continuing to be the cruelest species, the cruelty inflicted on animals for vanity must be stopped, for the sake of

“If you want to test cosmetics, why do it on some poor animal who hasn 't done anything? They should use prisoners who have been convicted of murder or rape instead. So, rather than seeing if perfume irritates a bunny rabbit 's eyes, they should throw it in Charles Manson 's eyes and ask him if it hurts,” said comedian Ellen DeGeneres in My Point... And I Do Have One, her humorous reflection on her life. Though Ellen DeGeneres makes a hyperbolic point, she questions the ethicality of animal testing.…

Their innocent eyes and pure hearts have a way of looking into you and showing you that they love you no matter what, all without uttering a single word. These animals are without fault and without blemishes, and yet each day these animals are being used in animal testing and experimentation. For years these animals have been poked and prodded in the name of science, their lives taken from them so that they may live in packed cages and be cruelly treated for our benefit.…

People, especially scientists, are hurting innocent animals that did no harm to anyone. Animal testing shouldn't be allowed to happen because animals are getting hurt, they are not protected, and animals get mistreated. One reason that animal testing shouldn’t be allowed is because animals are getting hurt. For instance, the Draize eye test involves rabbits having their eyelids clipped open for as long as multiple days so that they don’t blink the product being tested away. Popular cosmetic brands like L'oreal, Lancome, Estee Lauder, and S.C. Johnson are used on animals.…

Humans perform these experiments on all species of animals to find different effect of a product it could have on a human. Three advantages in particular advantages are, it helps scientists gain a better understanding for cures of different diseases, this practice makes a vital advance in medicine, and for the expense of treatments and cures animals should not have rights when it comes to research. Though I concede that in some situations, animal testing may be useful, such as in immensely important medical studies, I still maintain that it is unnecessary to make an animal suffer and be discriminated against. Although some people may think that animal testing is healthy and beneficial to humans, I believe that animal testing is unethical and utterly wrong because of the unfair repulsive treatment that animals receive from scientists. This topic is important because the world we live in is as much an animal 's world as it is a human’s world and right now humans are discriminating and enslaving…

Now days, society can volunteer themselves in clinical drug research for a monetary exchange. With modern science “we can see inside peoples’ brains using imaging machines or test microscopic amounts of new drugs harmlessly on volunteers.” (BUAV.org the campaign to end animal experiments, pg 7) Humans are more willing to volunteer themselves for the money, but also because strict health and safety precautions are put in place for their well-being at all times during the study. Humans can also communicate their side effects and pain occurrence which provides sound and optimal results for future modifications and or dosages. Unfortunately, animals cannot communicate these important factors, which in turn is useless.…
