The purpose of this paper is to identify my personal values in order to determine how my values align with the values of KFF and how this alignment would affect my performance as a manager at KFF.
According to the Jungian Personality assessment my personality is that of an ENTJ which It calls as The Executive. It defines me as a natural born leader, a take charge person. It says I am self confident, forceful, and decisive with a dynamic presence and excellent verbal communication skills. I am also an extrovert gifted with a great deal of personal power. When I consider Kathy Kudler’s initial vision for KFF (WEB LINK: Kudler Fine Foods Virtual Organization.) to be the premiere gourmet grocery store for those savvy shoppers who are searching for the finest meats, produce, cheeses, and wine she was in line with my personal values. Ethically Kathy’s Social Responsibility Statement that KFF will use only the finest organic ingredients. Whenever possible, KFF would purchase local produce from organic farmers. Only unbleached flour in the bakery goods and no unnecessary preservatives add to their products. Since I had worked in a grocery store I agreed wholeheartedly that food should be rotated from the shelves on an ongoing basis. My ethical values fully endorsed that items still in “good” condition be donated to local homeless shelters and food kitchens.
What would cause a problem for me as a manager for KFF lies in the background of KFF listed in its 2003 Strategic Plan (WEB LINK: Kudler Fine Foods Virtual Organization.) It tells me that KFF was established in 1998
