Care value are a range of standards that all carers most follow to ensure the wellbeing of all service user, and get the most suitable care for them as individuals. Carers have a lot of care values to practice, such as:

The aim of confidentiality is to protect and restrict whoever has access to these personal details, and only the service user should give consent for them to be use in any way, however the carer can only give out the patient information if they are in case of danger. In most of the service centres to maintain confidentiality they store all information electronically and protect them with password. Unfortunately confidentiality is not always simple as that, mostly in care centre with young adult with learning disability that are unable to give consent for whatever reason, in this case they will entrusted the service user with a guardian to make decision for them. SCENARIO:
Diego a young adult with learning disability is not able to dress by himself, so he decide to ask for help and immediately Rachel one of the carers decided to help him, but Diego is still not happy, he felt in embarrassed because she’s a female. At this point is clear that they have to look for a male carer and is in Rachel charge to agree with him and look for someone else. A really bad practise would be to not listen or worst get offended by Diego decision and dress him anyway.
SAFEGUARDING AND DUTY OF CARE:
Is extremely important in health and social care, is about making sure that everyone is safe, preventing unpleasant events like: abuse, maltreatment, harm and even things like discrimination or hate-crime by staff members. To follow this value is important to employ securities to control all the areas in case of danger. Is also really important to ensure that staff members had taken a safeguarding training before getting the job and to create a good safeguarding politicise to follow and make sure that everyone are award of them. One common way to ensure safeguarding and duty of care is to install fire alarms in all the building in case of blaze.
