Personal Narrative: My Trip To Oklahoma

Oklahoma trip

This last week was Labor Day weekend my family took a trip to Oklahoma. We were going to Shattuck Oklahoma which is 4 and a half hour a way to see my aunt and uncle and cousins. On the way there it was so boring and long that I just texted some friends and slept. Then my mom told us to wake up because we were almost there. When we got there we stayed in Woodward Oklahoma which was about 30 minutes away from Shattuck. But the hotel we stayed at was the perfect spot because we had sports places and Walmart and more stores right a crossed from us where we could just walk there. After getting there and exploring our hotel and getting a break we got back in the car and drove to my aunt’s house.

With the windows down, the crisp, cool summer air permeated throughout my body, acquiring every hair to stand at attention. Buffalo surrounded and granged lazily through the corn fields that shot high to the sky, as if every row was assembled soldiers getting ready to march. South Dakota is known for open fields with a consumed, laid back lifestyle with not much ever going on. Going into the trip knowing this, I was not in the least bit excited. It was when I absorbed the laid back atmosphere and appreciated every single bit of their way of life.…

Paragraph My trip to Texas and New Mexico was fun and interesting. I went to Texas and New Mexico in 2014's summer with my family to visit my brother who lives in Texas, and to have vacations too. We also visited some places like the Cowboys Stadium, Wet N' Wild Waterworld, the Museum of Space History, and White Sands National Monument.…

However, I do have big hair and have a slight Southern accent. I live in a big suburban city called Arlington. I love my state and my city.…

I’ve lived my entire life in Indiana, as have my parents. My mom and dad were raised close to Monroe and went to Adams Central, where they met and fell in love. They ended up moving north to Fort Wayne where they had my sister and I. We began our schooling in FWCS, but we moved farther north to the tiny town of Huntertown later, which led to my sister and I switching to NACS for my high schooling and her middle and high schooling. Due to all of the events that have happened here in Indiana throughout my life, and due to most of my immediate family living in the area, I have a desire to continue living and working here.…
