They lived in a patriotic part of the state of Georgia, so their families didn't give the happiest of good-byes. But the day was bright blue and very beautiful, and the men were excited for their trip. The men decided to carpool in Trevor’s car, because it was the only car that could hold four people. It was a red 1965 El Camino, with two black seats inside the car, along with a pair of black seats in the truck on the car. It was a nice car …show more content…

The man didn't strike Kenny or Bill as a man with any consideration for what was right and what was immoral. Trevor was a generous, but often naive man, and was happy to have the is man accommodate them for a short time. “I guess, we're driving past their anyway.” said Trevor. Kenny (who was sitting in the passenger’s seat) punched Trevor in the arm, to give him the message, ‘no’. “Trevor, we don't know this man. For all we know he could be a murderer!” Kenny whispered with much aggression. “Or… He could be a witness to a crime like he said! You need to develop a conscience.” said Trevor to defend his reason. “I promise I'm good guy. My name’s Alex… Um… What's your name?” asked Alex “I'm Trevor, this is my brother Kenny, and outback is our friend Bill.” said Trevor Alex got into the car, and Kenny decided that he would sit with Bill until they arrived at the police station. Alex asked a lot of strange questions to Trevor, almost like an interrogation. Trevor gave him the secret information, about them traveling to Canada hoping to flee the Vietnam

In “The Destructors” by Graham Greene, Trevor (“T”) is justified in destroying Old Misery’s house based on his perspective.
