There are so many alleys and nooks and I am just not into all that. Truthfully alleys scare me. One thing I did like in Florence was the chapels. If you are a big shopper Florence would be the place to go as they have lots of shops to explore. I sure love pasta foods, although they are not good for me as a diabetic. However, I eat them all the time because they are my favorite. Italy definitely has a huge variety of pasta. Some call it antipasti. Italy’s restaurants are way beyond our typical Olive Garden restaurant for sure. The food tastes so much fresher and looks more handmade than in our restaurants here in the United States.
