Despite the many hardships of this profession, there are several positive aspects of being a therapist. I think one of the most positive aspects of this profession, is the impact therapists can have their on their clients with facilitating change. So often do therapists struggle with the disappointments and failures of this profession, that I think they sometimes forget about the basic theme of being a therapist. Therefore, I think it is important for therapists to be mindful of their role and focus on helping their clients. I think issues start to arise for therapists when they lose sight of their role, and focus too much on the negatives of this profession. In order to combat the hardships of this profession, I believe therapists should focus on the meaning behind their work, allow clients to inspire them, and remember to always take care of themselves. These options might not always help therapists manage through this profession, but I think it would behoove them to have a plan of action when hardships
