Some of these include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Morrison Child and Family Services, Portland Homeless Family Solutions, and Lines for Life just to name a few. Each of these support various problems, such as helping the hungry, teaching children, housing the homeless, ending abuse and suicide, and transporting at-risk youth to/from appointments (“Counseling Psychology”). Although these children and adults may be suffering serious problems, it is a psychologist’s job to stay positive and be open-minded with everyone they speak
