Organizational Behavior Terminology and Concepts Everyday we are faced with several obstacles within our working environments. Some of those obstacles include the culture of the organization, behavior or the organization, the diversity within the organization (or lack of), and the communication on receives within their organization. We are continually looking for ways to improve these areas and be able to co-exist with one another when faced with different opinion on what each area should represent in ones organization. Organizational Behavior Organizational behavior has been the study and application of how people, individuals, and groups act in an organization.2 It includes multiple viewpoints, methods, and levels of analysis. Organizational behavior, unlike organizational culture, is currently a growing field. Behavior is highly influential within the business world. It has become very important within the global economy as people that come from different backgrounds and cultures have to co-exist within the same organizations on a daily basis. NEW is an organization that is very diverse and includes people from all over that have to interact and work together on a daily basis. We have people from all over that may have different ideas that need to work together as one to come to an agreement on an area or topic. We also incorporate a set of policies and procedures that every employee needs to abide by which helps such a diverse culture co-exist. I have mentioned how diverse we are as an organization, which leads me to explaining diversity and what it is.
