Woken and small children often end up as the first line causalities of most cultural revolutions experienced in America. The fact that some peer educators do not understand the psychological dispensation of homeless children, therefore, makes it hard for them to empathize with such learners in early childhood education programs. Hence, there is a need to increase awareness within the society on the various resources available and meant for the homeless as well as draw the attention of the society towards the plight of children between the ages of five to eight who have no place to call home. While the purpose of the qualitative phenomenon-logical research study was to explore the life experiences of homeless children between the ages of four and eight, an explanation of the predisposing factors as well as the conditions that yield homelessness is evidently missing. The solution to homelessness cannot be tied to the education system alone. For instance, provision of solutions to the educational needs while failing to attend to the other inherent needs of homeless children is bound to minimally impact on their development. Similarly, availability of resources to cater for the developmental needs of homeless children at school while doing nothing about the psychological effect of their residences might just end up being the least effective
