The primary purpose for researching this topic is to inform the readers on homelessness. Also to give them insight on how and why homelessness is a crisis. Throughout the paper I will solely focus on homelessness in America. I chose this topic because of what happened to me and my brothers during my 7th grade year. We slept outside of our old house for a night. After my mom found out she had breast cancer she basically disconnected from the world. And during the time my mom found out about the cancer she was in the middle of getting a divorce. She stopped working, paying bills, and eventually we were evicted. The day we got off the bus and seen all of our stuff sitting outside my brothers and I just sat on the porch waiting for my mom to arrive.
