My Hero is Jesus Christ There is only one person who could be my hero. My hero is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is not and will never be a better hero than Jesus. Jesus Christ is a very important person in my life. He died for everyone. He is the Son of God. God made all things in and out of this world. He loves everyone. John 3.16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for us and our sins, so that we could be given the opportunity of salvation and everlasting life in Heaven. We all at some point, may have thought, “Where is the proof?” God does not have to give proof …show more content…
The Bible says in Romans 3.23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Usually when people think of sin, for some reason they always tend to think of sin as murder, and things similar to that. The thing is, sin is so much more than that. One sin, no matter what it is, will condemn you to eternity in Hell. The Bible says in Romans 6.23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The amazing thing is, Jesus payed the price for our sins, so that we might have eternal life in Heaven. It makes me see things a little bit differently. And to think that Jesus chose to die on a cross for everyone’s sins and bear all the unimaginable pain and suffering from it even though each and every one of us deserves Hell for eternity for what we have done and the sins we have committed. There is one sin that is specifically spoken of in the Bible that is unforgivable. The Bible says in Matthew 12.31-32, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” There is no greater love than the love of Jesus …show more content…
That was the day I asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me from eternity in Hell and a miserable life. He has completely changed the circumstances for me more times than I can count or know. It was and is the best decision I have ever made. I am so happy that I asked Jesus into my heart. I am so fortunate to have a relationship with Him. The Bible says He is always there for you and if you call out to Him, He will always hear you and answer you. And sometimes God does not answer prayers in ways that we can understand, but we need to trust that He knows all things and He is answering our prayers in ways that we will never fully understand, but we can know that He is answering them correctly without a doubt. There is an eternal peace that you receive when you accept Jesus into your heart. The Bible says in John 14.27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” The world will never give you peace as He gives us peace. No one will ever feel satisfied or at peace until they accept the Lord Jesus into their hearts. People will search for this type of satisfaction until they open their eyes to the truth that there is only one way to truly feel whole and satisfied. That is by accepting Jesus into their heart. I am so grateful to be given this gift of eternal peace and salvation
