Bryson Honeycutt Hero

What is a hero Everyone has a hero in their life. Whether this hero is just someone famous or someone that has mentored them through their life, everyone has a hero. A hero can be someone who has had a huge impact on your life, or a hero can be someone who you idolized at one point in life. No matter how big of an impact they may have made on your life they are still considered a hero to you. For my hero I chose (Coach) Baden Honeycutt. Honeycutt has had a huge impact in my life from being my sunday school teacher to my math teacher and now my youth minister. I have known him ever since I can remember, but now that I have grown older he has been there to help me through many tough situations. Baden Honeycutt works a full time job as a math teacher, a soccer coach, and a bus driver, but even though he already has so much on his plate he still maintains to stay in church as often as the doors are open. He has lately filled the position of interim youth minister at West Jackson Street Baptist Church, and even though he already has so much on his plate with school and having a newborn he still finds time to preach to the youth several times a week. When I first joined the youth group at West jackson street Baptist Church I was twelve years old, and that summer we went on a trip called Mfuge. At this point in my life I wasn’t saved and I knew that I wanted to make that step but I was too afraid to do it. It was the last night of the trip, and I just remember the speaker was just hitting me hard. That night Honeycutt was the one that talked me through everything. Therefore, I guess you could say that he has had quit a big impact on my life. In the interview he says, “I want them to not make the same mistakes I did”, this just shows how he tries to work on so many people’s lives like he has
