2pac Amaru Shakur: My Hero

Improved Essays
One of my hero’s that I admire would be an American rapper, record producer and an actor. His name is Tupac Amaru Shakur. Also known as, 2pac. He was born June 16 1971 in East Harlem, New York City. He died on September 13 1996 in Las Vegas, NV. The cause of his death was murder. On September 7th 1996, Tupac was leaving a boxing event in Las Vegas when he was shot multiple times. Six days later, he passed away on the 25th of September. To me, my hero is someone who will never give up, even when times are hard. A hero is someone who keeps his head up high, stands up for what he believes in, who is not selfish, who helps others without being asked.

He proved tons of times that he was physically strong, but even stronger mentally. To think one of your best friends may have planned to murder you, but staying focused enough to still make music with him without fighting, shows a lot of mental strength. To me, he has shown he has courage, and he proved it to all those who doubted him no matter what the situation was that he was in.
Another thing Tupac did to make me see that he was my hero; he helped out in the community. Even though rappers had the bad reputation of being bad, and not caring about anyone else, he was the complete opposite. He helped other artists to become well known, and helped them produce music. Before his tragic death, he contributed to a charity to help raise money to keep children away from violence.
From always speaking up for what he believed and thought, to always being strong physically and mentally, to being helpful and showing his compassionate side, Tupac showed he was a hero. To be a hero is so much more than it sounds; to be a hero you have to be looked up to. You have to be able to say "I helped people without being asked to," A hero has to make a difference in the world, not make anyone seem smaller then you, but actually put them before you. To me, this is what a hero is, and to me, Tupac Shakur shown me nothing but the definition of a

    23) Conditions for Amerindian elites were different from the condition for Amerindian commoners under Spanish rule. The Amerindian elites struggled to survive in the new economic and political environments caused by military defeat and European settlement, while Amerindian commoners suffered from tribute payments, loss of traditional land rights, and forced labor duties. 24) I support the statement because as a result of the Spanish European colonization and slave trade with Africa, a diverse culture unfolded in the Americas. Malcolm X 's actions as a leader are both opposed and celebrated, due to his villainous portrayal as a drug-dealing criminal versus a courageous and principled freedom fighter. Assessing the legacy of his leadership is complex as throughout Malcolm X’s life his attitude to civil rights and the best methods of achieving them changed and much of his testament is viewed through the lense of his Islamic beliefs. Perspective is important in deciding whether Malcolm…
