My grandparents are/were indescribable. I have been blessed to have the greatest grandparents. I was devastated when my mother 's parents passed away. To this day, I feel as if they left the world entirely too early. My mother 's parents were Floyce and Harper. My father 's parents are Barbara and Robert. Since I am unable to interview my mother 's parents, I would like to give you some information about them. If it wasn 't for them, I wouldn 't be here today. Floyce was born on June 24, 1933, at a healthy five pounds, eight ounces in Dallas, Texas. Harper was born on October 28, 1944, at a healthy six pounds, six ounces in Sacramento, California. They got married on February 21, 1972, in Dallas, Tx. In May of 1972, Floyce found out that she was pregnant with her fourth child. On February 19, 1973, she gave birth to Evelyn Venee Elliott. She was a beautiful five pounds, one ounce. Harper passed away on November 5, 2009. He lived to be sixty-five years old. Floyce passed away on December 31, 2010. She lived to be seventy-seven. Floyce and Harper Elliott raised six children. Their six children blessed them with eleven grandchildren. Unfortunately, they passed away before they were able to meet their eight great-grandchildren. I interviewed my father 's mother, Barbara Ann Carlisle. Here is her life story, enjoy.
