Carrie Fisher was a talented actress, wonderful mother, and inspiration for all. A woman who overcame her problems and showed the world she could do anything she put her mind to, Carrie Fisher had amazing potential. Even though she struggled with drug abuse along with mental disorders, she was an amazing actress and role model because she made women feel powerful and she was an advocate for mental health. Carrie Frances Fisher was born October 21, 1956. She was delivered in Burbank, California to parents Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. Her mother Debbie Reynolds became a star in 1952 when she performed in Singin’ in the Rain. She also wrote three autobiographies. Married three times with two children, she grew up with a Protestant faith and was in beauty pageants. Carrie's father, Eddie growing up with Jewish beliefs, always loved to sing and even dropped out of high school to pursue. He had his first hit “Thinking of You” in the 1950’s. Carrie and Paul met at the peak of her Princess Leia career and drug abuse. They dated for five years total but were only married for 11 months before they divorced in 1984. After the split, they dated briefly before she got together with Bryan Lourd. Her other relationships included Harrison Ford, Dan Aykroyd, and Bryan Lourd. Her co-star Harrison Ford had an affair with Carrie while filming for Star Wars which she wrote about in her diary because she was “infatuated”. She was engaged to Dan Aykroyd, which she performed with on The Blues Brothers, in 1979 and they split two years later. Finally she was with Hollywood super agent Bryan Lourd which she dated for three years and had child Billie Lourd in 1992. Brian and Carrie split in 1993 and he went on to pursue a relationship with husband Bruce Bozzi. Her daughter Billie Catherine Lourd was born to Carrie and Bryan on July 17, 1992 in Los Angeles,
