I used the analysis of my personality to see what type of field that the description of my personality best falls into. I researched career choices using the Occupational Outlook Handbook by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This website allowed me to research in detail the different aspects of each type of career. It allowed me to gather the general description, school requirements, average income, and work environment of each career. Combing my personal interest with my research, The Occupation Outlook Handbook narrowed down my research to three careers: physician or surgeon, physical therapist, and an athletic trainer. These careers allow me to interact with a large group of people on a daily basis. Furthermore, their career environments are structured and allow me to help others first hand. I am highly interested in sciences and the aid to the illnesses of humans, so my career choices also fit into the medical field. I further narrowed my career choice to being a physician or surgeon. After selecting my career, I looked into colleges that fit my personal preferences and offered my career choice by using Big Future by College Board. The website gave a list of all the colleges and universities that are available. I filtered the list by added requirements and preferences. I narrowed down my search to colleges that offer my major, are in the southern region, and that are classified as a four year college. After researching private, public, local, and far away schools, I narrowed my search to two private school and one public school. I selected The University of Notre Dame, The University of Baylor, and Vanderbilt University. University of Baylor and Vanderbilt University are in the south and offer my major. They are both elite schools that I would be able to excel in. The University of Notre Dame is my reach
