Every college offers these to some extent. The college that best fits my interests outside of academics is Findlay. The school is recognized as one of the top ranking equestrian schools in the nation. They have an IHSA team which is considered a varsity sport (“IHSA Western Team”). IHSA stands for Intercollegiate Horse Show Association and is a college equestrian sport. This means that if the team travels anywhere to compete, all the riders’ expenses are paid for. In addition to the IHSA team, Findlay has a Ranch Horse Team (“Ranch Horse Club Team”). This club is a member of the American Ranch Horse Association. While I think it is great to have a high level competition such as IHSA, the ranch team seems to be more about fun and less about winning. Horseback riding would be my main activities concentration at Findlay, but they also have many other students organizations that I could join. Some of these include honor societies, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), the student newspaper, and student government (“Clubs and
