My First Day Of College Essay

I never wanted to move on from high school to college, but knew at some point I had to. My first day of college was one of the most nerve wrecking days of my life, because it was a new chapter in my life. I was ready for it and was hoping it would be one of the best experiences in my life. I did not know what to expect from college. My friends and family always told me how different it was going to be than college and did not know if I was prepared. As I was driving to school it was different because I had to take the highway to school and of course there was early morning traffic. I finally arrived on campus and realized there was nobody I knew, the college campus also had a different atmosphere than high school. I arrived at the campus an hour early to explore the campus and to make sure I know where all my classes will be held. As I was roaming the campus it was qutie confusing because there were so many different buildings. I decided to wait in the library where I seen a few familiar faces from my high school, that made me a bit more comfortable. I had two classes that day, it was so weird because my first class was three hours long. The two classes I had were english and algebra. I made my way to my english class nervously, not knowing what my first college class would be like. When I finally got there, I greeted my professor nicely.
